Took a trip down Roosevelt Road on my lunch break today, looking for photographic inspiration. There are a series of statues of globes, and I took this picture of one with dinosaurs. The day was gray and overcast, but some tweaking in Lightroom turned out a pretty great result.
I used to be against post-processing & posted my images straight out of the camera, but Lightroom just has so many tools and options to bring out details in your photographs that I'm a complete convert now. I feel that my photographs are looking much better, now that I'm using a decent processing tool.
